Innovative Environmental Solutions (IES) is a California “S” Corporation that was established in 2005 by Michael T. Davis, a California Registered Professional Geologist and Janet M. Davis, an Environmental Policy specialist. Both Mr. and Mrs. Davis received their degrees from the University of California at Davis. Mr. Davis has over twelve years experience directing environmental assessment and remediation work in California and this experience has resulted in multiple site closures and a nearly perfect track record managing reimbursement accounts. Mrs. Davis utilizes her experience in Environmental Policy Analysis, working for the California Costal Commission and managing unauthorized release sites to effectively move projects towards site closure. Through a network of geologists, engineers, environmental scientists, technicians, and health and safety professionals, IES effectively utilizes its extensive experience in environmental compliance to work for you. IES professionals have decades of experience navigating the regulatory complexities that can impede progress on your project.
Whether you need assistance in applying for the California Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund or managing the assessment and remediation of soil and groundwater at an impacted property, IES professionals have developed a positive working relationship with State Water Resources Control Board, California Environmental Protection Agency and local regulatory agencies to ensure efficient management of unauthorized release cases. IES assesses and remediates its client’s impacted properties using a multi faceted approach that allows assessment to continue concurrently with interim remedial action. This reduces the project life and restores previously impaired properties for economic use in the shortest time possible. IES understands its client’s needs and offers flexibility that minimizes impact to these facilities so that normal business operations can continue while the required environmental activities are ongoing.
IES has successfully completed assessment and remediation projects under the direction of the California Environmental Protection Agency’s Department of Toxic Substances Control, County Local Oversight Programs and the California Unified Program Agency. In addition, IES has used innovative strategies to complete assessments of large planned residential developments during the planning review process that has allowed these projects to proceed without any further delay. IES uses its experience to anticipate and satisfy agency requirements efficiently to save time and unnecessary expense. |
